MONA's mission and vision closely align with the

We bridge businesses and charities, ensuring that food and products that can still be consumed don’t go to waste. We reduce waste, cut disposal costs, and create impactful ESG initiatives that drive sustainability and social good.

Our History

MONA started as an online community for sharing unused items, growing into a movement of 16,000+ members. Recognizing the potential for greater impact, MONA expanded to help businesses reduce waste by redistributing surplus to charities. By connecting companies with the right recipients, MONA lowers disposal costs, strengthens ESG efforts, and provides essential resources to those in need.

Beyond redistribution, MONA empowers organizations with ESG education, fostering sustainable practices. Through logistics, innovation, and community engagement, we transform waste into opportunity, making sustainability simple and impactful.

Our Mission

MONA connects businesses, communities, and individuals to redistribute surplus products, reduce waste, and create measurable social and environmental impact through a circular economy.

Our Vision

To build a world where surplus becomes a source of opportunity, not waste.

Meet our Founder

Quinn Phan

ESG and climate tech leader who cares deeply about turning sustainability into something real and community-driven.

Before MONA, she ran a vegan restaurant in Seoul. That experience opened her eyes to how hard it is for small businesses to deal with waste, rising costs, and the pressure to stay sustainable.

Since launching MONA, Quinn has spearheaded Korea-based ESG innovation by building 50+ corporate partnerships, launching cross-sector pilots in six industries, and introducing scalable, data-informed strategies for surplus redistribution.

Her leadership has not only helped businesses reduce waste and emissions, but also strengthened Korea’s circular economy through grassroots community engagement.

Her efforts have gained national and global recognition

Quinn was named a Seoul Honorary Citizen (2024) for her contributions to sustainability and civic impact, and selected as one of TESCO & Women of the Future’s 50 Global Female Trailblazers in ESG representing South Korea for advancing decarbonization and circular economy solutions across Asia.
